Logarithm: Most Important Question for Exams

LOGARITHM is one of the important concepts which has greater importance in competitive examinations like JEE MAINS, WBJEE, NDA, CDS, CUET, etc.

LOGARITHM: Logarithm is another way of representing the concept of the exponent. The Logarithm of a positive number is the power or index to a number ( or base ) > 0 and not equal to 1 must be raised in order to get some other number.

For example, we know, 2³ =  8.

If the question can be asked in the following way – does the answer change?“ What power of 2 gives 8 ?”  – the answer is 3.

2³ =  8        or       log ₂ 8 = 3
